Manual R-θ Scanner
TecScan’s R-Theta Manual Inspection Scanner is a two axis scanner designed for Non-destructive, circular inspections. Equipped with encoded radial (R) and rotational (θ) axes, this scanner is designed to perform ring shaped raster scan inspections from a single attach point. The R-θ Manual Inspection Scanner has indexing capabilities on the linear R axis to perform raster scan easily. It is also equipped with an articulated probe support for an optimal contact between the probe and the inspected surface.

R-Theta Manual Scanner
TecScan’s R-Theta Manual Inspection Scanner is equipped with optical encoder with a resolution of up to 0.015mm/step on the linear R axis, and 0.018 deg. on the rotational theta axis. The support represents a Swival/Gimbal head designed to follow contoured surfaces with an optimal contact with the probe. A manual vacuum pump system secures the scanner to the inspected surface in seconds.
TecView™ Lite
