TecView® PA enables the full PAUT inspection process, from structured acquisition setup through synchronized scanning and data visualization to analysis and reporting. Built as a true 64-bit application optimized for Windows® 11 and multi-core processors, the software handles large phased array datasets efficiently and reliably, even in demanding automated inspections. Guided Acquisition Setup
TecView® PA includes a guided setup workflow to streamline probe, wedge, material, and scan configuration. Users are led through all necessary parameters, including beam angles, aperture definitions, coupling methods (immersion, wedge, contact), and multi-channel synchronization. Advanced 3D Phased Array Control
For inspection of complex and contoured parts, TecView® PA supports advanced 3D scan paths with real-time adaptation to local geometry. This enables precise control of phased array probes on curved surfaces and variable-thickness components, ensuring consistent inspection coverage and acoustic coupling throughout the scan.
Patented Dynamic Aperture Control
TecView® PA incorporates patented Dynamic Aperture Control, a technology that dynamically adapts the active phased array aperture based on local surface orientation and beam incidence. Elements with unfavorable incidence are automatically excluded, and aperture adjustments are made continuously to maintain optimal beam coupling and signal quality. This results in uniform C-scans, improved signal-to-noise ratio, and reliable volumetric imaging without manual retuning.
High-Definition Imaging
TecView® PA provides synchronized real-time visualization, including A-scan, B-scan, C-scan, and 3D volumetric rendering. The platform also integrates advanced imaging methods such as Total Focusing Method (TFM) and Phase Coherence Imaging (PCI) when used with compatible phased array systems. These capabilities improve defect detection sensitivity, image clarity, and defect characterization, supporting confident decision making across inspection workflows.
